Ethics Training:
“Ethics2 - Application of an Ethical Decision Making Model to Ethical Challenges that Confront Social Workers in Every Day Practice”
The Chapter Ethics Committee will discuss the elements of an effective ethics decision making model in a panel format. Case scenarios will be presented and discussed in break-out groups. Conference participants will be given the opportunity to apply these principles in a variety of practice situations.

The Minnesota NASW Chapter Ethics Committee is chaired by Ruthann Swanson, LICSW, ACSW, and Lisa M. Ellis, M.A., LICSW. Ruthann retired with 40 years experience in the medical and psychiatric health care setting, including 35 years at the Minneapolis VA Hospital where she served as director of hospital based home care. Lisa is a Social Work Consultant with Health Partners and a member of their ethics committee. They will be joined by select members of the Chapter Ethics Committee for this presentation.
